Facsimile reproduction of Detective Comics (DC, 1937 series) #58 December 1941 issue (first appearance of the Penguin), including the cover, story, text pages, and advertisements from the original issue. The interior paper stock is a lightweight newsprint similar to the original issue. Modern DC logo, barcode, and age rating have been added to the back cover.

  • - Art credits per information Fred Ray sent to Jack Burnley in 2003, which was subsequently published by Roy Thomas in Alter Ego #25 (June 2003). Ray verified that he did the pencils and Robinson did the inks to this cover.
