Ms. Marvel arrives in Seattle to confront Mystique but discovers that her old foe has set her up to battle a Skrull Captain Marvel. She destroys the false Cap but Mystique makes good her escape. Carol has a little chat with Spider-Man as she prepares for the next phase of her life.

Noh-Varr and Annie are assaulted by a woman from the future who has arrived to test the Protector's fighting skills. Things get strange when he discovers that his attacker looks like a future version of his friend Annie.
