A Book Club for Children!

Blackbird currently hosts 3 book clubs and is pleased to add a 4th! Our inaugural Children’s Book Club will kick off June 12th with an all ages Manga: Witch Hat Atelier. This is a charming story about a girl who dreams of becoming a wizard… but doesn’t have any natural ability. When she’s just about to give up all hope of being magical, she meets someone who helps her find her hope and her gumption to go after her dreams!

Children will participate in a deep-dive discussion of Witch Hat Atelier’s themes, plot, art, and character development. Parents should expect club to last 30 to 60 minutes.

BOOK CLUB – HOW IT WORKS: Come by Blackbird, purchase your child’s copy, get on the VIR (Very Important Reader) list, and meet up at BLACKBIRD on June 12th at 2:00.
