Batman gasses Dick Grayson. Alfred patches up Vicki. Batman tosses Dick into the Batmobile, driving off. Dick recovers quickly, and they discuss the situation. Cops start chasing them and surround them, until Batman rockets over and onto them, laughing like a maniac all the while. The Batmobile then engages wings, and rockets off. Dick freaks out, and Batman slaps him, then they discuss more, including Batman wanting to train him to fight crime. Dick finally accepts all this.

Two covers were done for this issue: one by Lee/Williams featuring Batman and Robin and an alternate one by Miller featuring just Robin, distributed in a 50/50 ratio.
