In flashbacks, Turok reviews his history, including the loss of Andar. Unbeknownst to him he is in modern Columbia, in the region of intense drug production, but living with a small group of low-technology "undiscovered" people who have no contact with the outside world. But Mon-Ark and his followers have also spilled into the time and place. Turok slays many and drives them off when they attack the village. But since Turok was clearly the target, the villagers require him to leave.
